I picked up my new F150 Lariat this weekend. My boss buys these for us and I don't mind

It is a big change from my 2012 model - but it is very, very nice. The upgrades are numerous and the ride is stellar. I have yet to put it in 4 WD yet but it should be fine. It is the smoothest riding automobile I have ever been in......car or truck.

by hawgndodge If you're not hauling I'd look at the 2.7 eco boost. Great mileage and still good power.

From what I read earlier, don't get the 2.7 if you're getting 4wd. The mileage advantage shrinks to almost nothing, and would only get worse with a leveling kit and new tires

Tires and kit and hard on the gas I get 15mpg. I have done a full tank of exact speed limit on country highways and gotten 18.5.

Yeah if you need 4x4 then avoid the 2.7.
I don't all the remote start and in dash screen so I just did xlt. Works great for me.

I have the 2015 XLT 2.7 2WD

I'm getting 26 MPG with cruise on 70

Great power. Not going to pull much. I have a utility trailer single axle.

Don. I am in the market. We need to buy from the same place and get a larger discount.

ETA:

With 10gs off, what would an XLT run?

Had the wife's Fusion in the shop last month and was discussing the 2015's with the service manager. He said wait until 2016 to purchase an f150 as there were some kinks they had to work out on the 15's. Conversation didn't go much farther than that so take it for what it is.

I cannot afford a King Ranch, but I have a 2005 XLT with a Triton 8. I have never spent a penny on repairs. The truck runs and drives great and pulls my bay boat effortlessly. The paint is great. The interior seats are in need of recovering at this time. This has been a great truck.

I'd be down. Let me know if you find someone giving a good deal. Right now the best I've found is the 7k off.

Not sure what a loaded xlt runs, haven't priced them.
also might end up waiting a few months if sync3 is that much better.
