Thanks. Banged on the starter and it cranked so at least now I know I ordered the right parts.
On top of all this had planned on taking the family to Orange beach tomorrow and staying till Wed. 1500 paid for condo and sounds like ill be at a funeral Monday and Tuesday instead and miss my sons first trip to the beach :banghead;

When I bought it, the guy had just out a new battery in. If be shocked if that was it.

Check your battery connection and test your battery.

Update. Got my new starter in and tried putting it in. Successfully removed air box an unbolted old started. Son of a gun wouldn't come off. Right about the time I broke out the 18oz Eastwing and heavy duty flat head screwdriver my better judgement took over. Will be bringing it to someone that knows what the hell they are doing.

Make sure the battery is connected properly. Tighten the screws as much as possible.

It's for sure starter. Bang it with a wrench and it turns and fires right up.
