2 way radio recommendations

Does anyone have good experience with these? I have struck out on all the ones I have purchased (its been at least 4 yrs since I have bought some). I have $50 gift card to academy so if someone could let me know a dependable brand that can be found there, that would be great.
We hunt hills and bluffs in Woodville, so something that would work well through a lot of cover would be great.

I have been around the Midland and cobra brand and they have been good.
