Delacroix flexed its guns on me hard and whooped my arse.
20mph winds yesterday, 1 gar, 1 small red that jumped on my spoon as I pulled it out of the water to re-cast.
Today was insane. Launched with Vanrich and his buddy. 20mph winds again, went a few miles, no fish (vans buddy caught 2).
Saw a bitchin storm wall headed our way.
I would have given my life for a motor, but I was paddling my arse off and halfway back the bottom dropped out. Got into the channel and almost flipped my fricking kayak in some class 3 waves. I had the top of the gunnel touching the water a few times when I was tossed sideways. Ive never been scared in my kayak, but this morning scared the shite out of me.
