Had an ole slickhead walk out around 8:20. Was tempting, but let her walk

No working dickface.

I’m joking...kind of. At work. Should’ve been a good morning.

Good luck

No luck this AM, but just got back out here again. Had 3 does on camera at 1pm. Hopes that’s a good sign

Stand on the pipeline

Apparently a guy is teaching his kid about the types of grass that grow on the pipelines, on the property next door. They drove the fourwheeler up to the foot of the stand and been in the middle of the pipeline, walking around since 3.

Box on what used to be a green plot. The hogs have absolutely taken over out here. It's ridiculous.

Any luck this evening?

I ended up knocking off work early and driving 2.5 hours to our place in Tensas to fill up a couple feeders, check non cell trail cams. Will hunt in the AM tomorrow through Thanksgiving.

I can confirm your point about not seeing anything in the mornings during this current phase/ weather and tons of movement from 11:00am-2pm then outstanding movement 4- dark.

Also, it looks like the bucks are days away from splitting up running with each other. Noticed some really decent younger buck pairs sparring their asses off. They’ll be going solo here shortly and in right at 4 weeks we’ll be getting into the rut.

This season has flown by so far. I have a ton of doe tags I need to start filling. I’m currently behind of where’d I’d like to be. Usually in my profession things slow down November- February and I would’ve been able to spend a lot of time hunting to this point but it’s just been busy which I’m not necessarily complaining about. I thank the good lord I still have a job after seeing so many who have lost their livelihood due to all this CHYNA Flu shite.
