Where are the medal ceremonies of the past where we hear the national anthem and see the athletes receive medals? It seems like they’re avoiding them.

They're on to the next event before the medal ceremony happens these days. One more way to kill the patriotism.

They are happening. I think NBC just isn't patient enough to show them. I was watching one of the speed skating events where we got gold on Peacock, I was goofing off doing something else and the screen was basically just a still shot of the arena and 30 min later they came back with the medal ceremony.

They've been showing them during the broadcasts earlier in the day where they're showing the whole event. They're just not showing them on the Primetime Broadcast because of how much shite they're trying to cram in.

I saw something this weekend that said something about the medal ceremonies starting at 9AM on Peacock.

I wonder if they are doing like SLC did in 2002? Instead of awarding the medals immediately after the event, they waited and presented all medals awarded that day at a special ceremony in downtown Salt Lake.

Peacock world feed shows everything. And has good announcers. And every event is available for replay on demand.
