I know that there are way more important issues to talk about like the "capping" of the well or other more important things. Are we going to be buying shrimp for $12 a pound imported from China?

Sadly I think imported shrimp will actually be cheaper.

Im pretty sure a large portion of the state is still open to shrimping. I saw a bunch of them offshore out of Cypremort Point a week ago.

There's this thing called ignorance. It means I don't know so therefore I am ignorant. Put me on the list and then lick my hairy balls.

IMPORTS were killing the local shrimpers before all this happened. There was a big push to raise the tariffs on imported seafood to level the playing field but i dont think it got done.

I think locals will still be able to get shrimp but overall the shrimpers are going to greatly reduced in number because the rest of the nation was and is going to go heavy imported for a while. (This might even be a product of perception. Afet all look at your perception)
