Agreed. Here's my plan. If they're going to drill at those depths, maybe a special well disaster corps should be formed with deep water blowouts and other worst-case scenarios as their only focus. All oil companies should be forced to contribute. A well disaster delta team.

You totally missed my point.

I'm sure nobody else really gives a rat's arse what BP is losing either...except BP and its shareholders.

I'm pretty sure that at the rate the money is being lost...not to mention the PR hit the company is taking...that BP is doing everything that it possibly can do to stop the leak. Frankly, the gov't will probably just get in their way.
