I know this has been probably been talked about ad nauseum in the past... but what are some companies to contact regarding cleanup jobs?
I have 40 hour hazwoper certification; is there anything else i should get to increase my chances of obtaining a decent job?
Thanks for any/all advice.

You have to be local and I am pretty sure you just contact BP or go to one of their claims centers.

I don't know where you're located in Louisiana, but PPM Consultants is one of the companies sending people down. You can find a link on their website. I think the pay is 13 or 14 bucks an hour, plus prediem. Long hours (about 80 a week). It's good money, but I don't know if it's worth it.
