In its latest update on the Deepwater rescue, the oil giant also said that its "top kill" procedure to stem the flow of oil in the Gulf of Mexico could go on for another day or two. Engineers began pumping thick drilling mud under pressure into the ocean floor yesterday. The operation continues today and could extend for another 24 to 48 hours.

There is really no telling how much this will end up costing them. As it should. Hell they can't pay some for what they will lose. This is really terrible.

BP's lawyers are going to ask the fishermen to produce their tax returns from the past couple of years as proof of loss. Do you think the fishermen reported all of their income? The fishermen have to prove their losses.
