And why.
So many doom and gloomers and "just wait, you'll see"
"I know things ain't bad now,but they will be"
shite like that
then on the other side you have the"I just went fishing today, saw no oil and limited out"
and "i work out here 200 miles offshore and see shrimp and tuna right now so things are ok"
What side do you stand on?

Long term -- this will work itself out and it will be OK. The earth heals, it is a magnificent creation. Really.
Short term -- if they can't collect that oil for the next 50 - 60 days (until relief wells are drilled) then that is terrible for commercial fisherman and those family have, are, and will suffer/ed.
So, I am both. Ultimately hopeful, though. What choice does anybody who loves the Gulf ultimately have?

I'm on the side of ....This Sucks.
BP Lies
Obama was too slow and still is.
Marsh might recover but not in time for me to enjoy it with my boys of 10 & 8.
La's fishing image may take even longer to recover.
We are losing more and more marsh by the friggin minute.

So, what would be half full? When it kills the marsh there will be gulf front property in Laffy? I really don't see a bright spot.
