Is it just me or does Louisiana usually do the exact opposite of what consultants recommend? Would be a lot cheaper to just throw chicken bones or ask a Magic 8 Ball in making decisions.

They need to fix, upgrade and renovate the zoo where it is and do it with current tax money they have now.
Invest a little each year, get thr donors who pledged involved ( see recent BRBR article). We can't afford more taxes for s new zoo. We have bigger issues that need to be addressed first.
