Also, until this war happened, I would have been confident if I got drafted that I could at least not get clapped the first week by just having general knowledge of firearms, being a decent shot at 300 yards, and having grown up in a rough enough part of town as a kid that I know when to duck and keep my head down. With the invention of drone warfare, the US can suck my nuts. Ill be draft dodger extraordinaire if this war happens anywhere besides on US soil.

I’m with you on that but they wouldn’t want my old arse, but the would want my kids and other family members of prime fighting age. And the US government can frick right off before getting my family to fight and die in a major land war in Europe for the second time in less than 100 years. Our homeland is a different story, but the draft died with Vietnam and I would hope the federal government has enough since to keep it that way.

Saw a video of a russian soldier getting hit by a FPV drone. His buddy was behind him and not hurt. The guy who got hit pointed to his head to shoot him. And his friend shot him point blank with an AK and kept walking.
This war is brutal.

Hundreds of thousands dead over a few seconds of launch capability for nuclear weapons. That’s what it’s always been about, Russia trying to reclaim land to be a little closer to NATO. Unless a miracle happens, this war will continue and sooner or later something will happen that draws in NATO and shite will really hit the fan.
