I know many of you have kids in youth leagues, and we've all seen plenty stories of parents behaving badly.

Our rec district is trying to implement a code of conduct for adults. Sadly we have had several issues and we are trying to protect our players and volunteers as best as we can.

Does anyone have any experience with 1) a parent/coach/volunteer code of conduct and/or 2) penalties/enforcement for said code of conduct (for example, parent curses out an umpire - parent kicked out park and banned for a week).

If you have seen them on websites, etc, that you can point me to, I would appreciate it.

This is probably a lost cause but we are going to try to give it a shot.

What's the old saying? Common sense isn't so common?

It's pathetic we even need to do this... but here we are.
