I have a "friend" who got out of one years ago after leaving a casino. My friend does not remember much, but he knows that he would not have offered a bribe to the officer.
The friend just remembers the officer saying that he wished that he had won $500 at the casino after my friend pulled his wallet/money clip out of his pocket.
Best $500 my friend ever spent.
