Tesla has an 8year/150k mile warranty on their batteries.

i think its 8/100k and they have been around longer than 8 year so its not like it stays under warranty forever.

Not sure why a company would want that cost. Most of the company works from home too

They probably got a tax credit to install them. Either pay the govt or buy something that might have some benefit to your employees or property value. I know which one i'm picking.

Battery health is really easy to check. You get quantifiable health data rather than someone promising that they got the oil changed on time. I wouldn't be scared of a used EV that had low degradation.

Charging at home is the best part, it’s like leaving for work everyday with a full tank of gas and then topping off every evening at home.

Got $900 tax credit to install the charger at home too

Did not know that. That's the second time I've assume all of them have my options lol. The $3000 tires was a fun debate.

Thanks.

yeah basically the more you spend the more mileage they give you because they reserve a little more for warranty liability. Which is dumb but just proves that warranties have more input from accountants than engineers.
