A friend of mine's father narrated some stuff at the WWII museum. He is the most decorated officer of the 82nd Airborne. He wrote a book that did very well, he's been portrayed in movies, etc. The guy is 98 years old and has a tremendously commanding presence. Got to meet him a couple times this summer. You know you're in the presence of greatness when you hear this guy speak. I haven't been to the museum yet, but hope to make it there soon.

The museum is a treasure. One of the true gems of the city. It will make you want to go home and fire up Wikipedia.

My grandfather has a brick there as well. Go to the front desk, tell them you're trying to find a specific brick. They'll ask for his name and maybe some other info(hometown maybe?), and show you on a map exactly where to find it.

Thanks for the help.

I was already looking forward to going but after all the responses on this site I am really excited now and not sure why it has taken me so long to go.

Your downvote came from me, by mistake. Was trying to upvote based on your grandpa's service. Don't want you thinking some douche downvoted that post.
