My mom had 2 1st cousins…twins… that flew B-17s in WWII. Both returned home , graduated from college and started careers. They were both called back in during Korea and flew B-29s as refuelers.
I got to know them both and they were tremendous men.
God, what I would give to be able to visit with that generation of my family again !
