Thought that turned out to be untrue, and Drew was already headed to the main roster.
I mean, he really didn't need NXT to begin with. Dude is absolutely built for the top of main roster right now.

There wasn't enough time left in the match from when he was injured to the finish for them to have called an audible. He was hurt right at the very end where he grabbed the top rope for too long.

I don't understand Johnny's appeal. He is simply another undersized underdog babyface. That is literally his entire character to casual fans.
