This has been a really entertaining match though. Love NXT. I just imagine Vince sitting there like "Damnit, what the hell is this!?" if he even bothers watching at all.

and nXt matches are much different animals than WWE matches

They are different but you won't see any piledrivers/headbutts/palm slaps or even Omega/Naito type stuff like the DDT to the ringpost or the piledriver off the table onto the ground.
And I doubt anyone would get that reception, but there's no one who's a paralyzed superstar sitting on the shelf right now. I'm sure if Edge or Daniel Bryan had gotten paralyzed instead of just being diagnosed with problems and then came back from the injury walking and looking like they kicked that injury's arse, it would be similar.
