Big news of the day... CM Punk tore his triceps during the Rumble match which likely means no Wrestlemania for him

Obviously Bayley & Cody Rhodes are on their way to title matches at Wrestlemania... Cody's actions Saturday suggest he will challenge Roman while Bayley still has to make her intentions known... will she challenge Rhea or go after her own stablemate Iyo Sky

I have a game tonight so I won't be active in the thread much if at all

Y'all have fun

Hate the punk injury but not surprised. The guy has proven over and over again that he cannot stay healthy at this point in his career. Taking a 10 year break where you age a bunch then come back and don't even attempt a full time schedule usually leads to issues. Trips and taker both have said it's harder to get ready for one match in 6 months than it is to wrassle a full time schedule. The rock has had the same issues. Sad news either way

Things may be looking up! Even though despite not being involved you still had to make the thread bc everything has to be about you

I hate Punk so I'm glad to see him injured. Cody got injured after only two or three matches back in WWE. Maybe there's an AEW curse. Jade Cargill better be careful.

Do you guys believe the Meltzer reports that Bron Breakker essentially took Brock Lesnar's role in the Rumble match?

As in... entered in Brock's spot... eliminated everyone Brock was set to eliminate... took the same elimination that Brock was going to take?

Can you imagine if Dirty Dom had gotten to eliminate Brock instead of Bron?

That might have been career defining for Dom... getting to throw Lesnar out of the Rumble

Along with Punk being out, Seth and Brock are questionable. I'm sure there's gonna be some backup plans in place.

Gunther slides into the punk spot vs seth I assume.

What seemed to be a loaded mania is certainly now one of question marks

Listening to Keller's podcast I'm sensing (he is not reporting this to be clear) that there's some back and forth with Rock and they don't quite know what to do. Keller seems to be hinting that Rock thinks him and Roman should happen at a Mania (not necessarily this mania) and the WWE side is thinking it won't happen at a mania

Cody is already in that spot, I assume they make it a 3 way? I assumed it would be a summer slam build after RR drops the belt to Cody.

Will he show off the giant arse bruise like Cody did in the HiaC match he was in after he tore his?

I think Rock wants 1 on 1 and I don't blame him. I also don't see WWE (hunter, Cody, etc.) allowing Roman Cody become a triple threat.

Mostly likely outcome IMHO is Cody vs Roman singles this mania and rock vs Roman at summerslam or next years mania

When/if Roman loses to Cody at WM they better do Rick/Roman at SS. Once Roman loses he is no use to the company…

No, he is a moron and is always wrong. Brock was going to be 30. Bron was planned to look strong all along.

I don't agree with your last sentence I saw you rambling about last night and frankly it doesn't make any sense BUT I do agree waiting til much past summerslam to do Roman/Rock is a gamble. Rock continues to get older and frankly they will prolly have a hard time keeping Roman heel. The crowd is not far from turning him face all it will take is a little nudge. They'll boo him as long as he's opposite beloved Cody but once he's done with Cody thatll change
