WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Surviving the Shake-Up Edition

It's the official start of the new year in WWE as the Superstar Shake-Up is now officially behind us.
A few notes from post Superstar Shake-Up ***NXT UK SPOILER ALERT BELOW***
- Liv Morgan is now on SD, the Riott Squad is broken up since the other 2 members remained on Raw
- Gloriously Alpha has been broken up as Chad Gable has been sent to SD while Bobby Roode remains on Raw
- ***NXT UK SPOILER HERE*** Alexander Wolfe showed up as part of a new stable in NXT UK, further confirming that SAnitY is no more ***END NXT UK SPOILER***
- Heavy Machinery is a SD tag team
- Andrade "Cien" Almas, Zelina Vega, & Aleister Black have all apparently been sent back to Charlotte Flair's Smackdown Live (if you don't see the connection here for the reason why, you're not looking hard enough)
Now onto the preview for the 1st Raw of the new WWE calendar
A new challenger should finally step to the King & Beast Slayer
The Sassy Southern Belle will do the lady-like thing and call out a man
We may or may not get to experience Vikings again (is that not the worst name ever)
The Miz will assault the Best in the World again... or a ring announcer may lose his or her job
That and more tonight on Monday Night Raw
Work will keep me busy tonight... I'll join probably around 7:30

Cesaro and Samoa Joe are on Raw. The Viking Experience are now called The Viking Raiders. Its almost like WWE didn't think any of this through before they announced it.

Charlotte Flair might become the most hated Flair ever....Almas and Vega could have really benefitted from new scenery and Aleister and Ricochet were over as a team....dumb as hell to split them up. They may have been the most over team on Raw in over a year.

I think you'll get the Vikings again....rumor has it the experience might be over and it might be time to raid again.

On Joe....he was legit sick with the flu last week and couldn't do shite. I think they wanted his angle on Raw to start live with him and didnt want to announce it as a side transfer so to speak.

Samoa Joe was known... just that he sick last week and couldn't make his appearance... but it was known he was going to Raw esp. after Finn showed up on Smackdown on Tuesday.
so is The Bar broken up now too?
I missed that 1

Also on this....I think Imperium could be a main roster faction in the not too distant future depending on Barthel and Aichner's development.

Cesaro was just announced today. I understand Joe was sick last week and they already teased his feud with Braun on Smackdown but everyone moving and changing names again at the last second is stupid. Here's the full list of roster movements. Some were only announced online.

Roman Reigns
Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor
Elias
Bayley
Ember Moon
Kairi Sane
Lars Sullivan
Buddy Murphy
Liv Morgan
Chad Gable
Apollo Crews
Mickie James
Otis
Tucker
The following Superstars made the jump to Raw in this year’s Superstar Shake-up:
AJ Styles
The Miz
Ricochet
Aleister Black
Erik
Ivar
Andrade
Zelina Vega
Rey Mysterio
Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso
Naomi
EC3
Lacey Evans

It appears as though....even though Sheamus missed SD last week with some issue... potentially an injury
ETA tNDB is also out with some inspecified injury suffered at WM....hopefully not neck related or tNDB might be out forever.

if you go to their superstar bio on WWE.com... these 3 bolded superstars now have SD tags attached... showing them as current SD performers
and there would be no reason for Aleister to have a SD tag... he was never exclusive to SD before the shake-up

That list is from last week. The people moving back just happened recently.

No shite I read on one of the sheets that Vince's first idea for their name was the Berzerkers.....I'm guessing Prichard or Hunter had to have convinced him that was a worse than horrible idea.

Hope EC3 gets a redemption angle

Fun fact: G and I were at the same baseball game this weekend, he neglected to come say hi.

Why not move Charlotte to Raw? So dumb.

There were some good names on r/SquaredCircle. The Sons of Odin with their finisher being called the Ragnarok.
Well hot damn, WWE wisely changed their name.

When Becky Two Belts gets taken down to Becky One Belt rumor has it that belt will be red and white....I'm guessing that's why.
