Going as far to humping a poster of him during a college party (just before we me
Ummm....well....uhhh....anyways back to the action, what a right hand by Gable!

Chills. I was fortunate enough to be in the arena for Wyndham's 2nd to last match (lights out vs LAK on a Saturday night) and that close with only the lights for the announcing area struck a nerve.

I cannot imagine it being my first day in a wrasslin company, the WWF in the attitude era
But yeah...imagine being Billy Gunn or Rocky Maivia walking into your first Wrestlemania and the Main Event being Sid vs Taker.

Only Savage vs Flair stands out. Not only for the match but for what should have been a straight Flair vs. Hogan Main Event
That Piper v Hart match was excellent. One of my favorite Piper matches and he did the job which makes it even more special.

quote:TBF Trump is in the celebrity wing (along with Pete Rose and others) and actually played a role in 3 Manias. Sid likely fell victim to a grudge by Vince in the early '00s, the scissor incident (with Arn being one of Vince's agents), and being forgotten about. Frankly the only thing he had going for visibility was his kids being on CBS reality shows.
So SID is not in the HOF, but Trump is?????
The fact that they gave him a similar package to Sika & Afa likely signals a HOF induction in the next year or two. I made the mistake of running into the broken leg clip on X this afternoon and it was hard to watch.

Just in to say I cannot stand Mr. Howdie and the Wyatt Sucks. Every time they come on with that BS weird crap, I groan. Coach Gable needs to put an end to this faction. He would have tonight without all the interference.
Coach Gable is a true American hero.
That said, I didn't think Dirty Dom could generate more heat than he already has, but he has. Dom and Liv are so good together. She's made Dom even better.

Wrong. LT was on 11. Not 10.
Yes... I bolded the wrong 1
Both Yokozuna & Bret Hart wrestled twice at 10 (also the famed Razor vs. HBK ladder match)
Yoko (as WWF Champion) beat Lex Luger
Bret lost to Owen
Then Bret beat Yoko in the main event to win the WWF Championship
That was the year both Lex & Bret went out at the Rumble together as the last 2 competitors

Looking up Sid's stuff it's crazy to think about walking into Rosemont for Sid-Taker, Rock's 1st Mania, and Austin-Bret. Say what you will but Chicago's Manias were very memorable not only that night but what they led to. In the last Chicago Mania, Punk made his debut as an extra for HHH-Cena hours after Mickie decided to grab Trish and Dom's deadbeat dad stealing his first World Championship.

WWE trying to scrub that from our memories... but that moment will live in internet history

In his own hometown, Tony is having to sell tickets for less than the price of a matinee movie ticket. How embarrassing!
