WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Hell in a Cell Go Home Edition

In case you missed this tidbit from the end of last night's TakeOver: In Your House thread... Samoa Joe is back in WWE. Not on the main roster, but rather in NXT as it's been reported that Samoa Joe has taken a job on the Tuesday night brand. And considering how In Your House went off the air last night... you might be able to see what Joe's on air role could be.

Mark Henry told TMZ Sports there is interest on both sides to potentially see the former Braun Strowman end up in AEW. Of course, AEW has had previous success with former members of the Wyatt Family (RIP Mr. Brodie Lee).

Ticket sales are reportedly not going well for WWE. Sure PPV events in cities like Dallas are doing fine, but some of the other dates are stagnant and well below expectations with the term "scary bad" being used to describe some of the markets. It's being reported that AEW is hitting its pre-pandemic ticket sales numbers, but WWE is well below what it was doing.

Big Daddy Meltzer is saying both WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & AEW World Champion Kenny Omega are on the same character arc that obviously sees them as dominant heel champions currently... but will eventually see both become the top babyface in their respective companies as soon as next year.

The Hell in a Cell go home episode of Monday Night Raw tonight comes from the WWE Thunderdome inside of the Yuengling Center on the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
