WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Day 1 Ish Edition

I'm spending the evening with the lady (no pics you heathens) and her family so I won't be active in the thread tonight
We've all seen the news by now that Kevin Dunn is out at WWE... a shocking end to his long WWE career as 1 of Vince's top hands
Also... Samoa Joe is the new AEW World Champion with Adam Cole as the Devil and Roddy Strong, Wardlow, & The Kingdom as his henchmen... The Kingdom being the ROH World Tag Team Champions after beating MJF last week on Dynamite
Have fun tonight everyone... I'll try to pop in occasionally

Not sure where they go with Drew if he loses clean tonight. Feels like he’s been built up as the next champion, but also feels like Seth vs Punk for the title is the slam dunk Mania match. Interested to see how they handle it. Maybe could have Jey involved somehow and move into a Drew-Jey program.

I'm sure everyone else's alma mater's men's basketball team lost to an 0-12 team by 21 points this weekend, right guys?
Oh dang, bad Bama fumble there.
Anyway, I kinda forgot what to expect from tonight's show. I guess Punk is supposed to show up? Hopefully it will be good, it being a three-hour show still.
ETA: I'm pretty sure the Soviets are attacking just down the street!

World's End was bad overall. Edge vs Christian had another stupid finish. Andrade is done with AEW and is expected to sign with WWE soon, possibly today. The rumors of Chris Jericho raping Kylie Rae came back right before the ppv started so there's been more than the usual amount of AEW hate online lately.
As far as the former world champion appearing on Raw tonight, The Rock and Nick Khan were at the Rose Bowl today. Raw is down the street in San Diego.

Jericho and Punk are in the middle of proxy war on twitter. Punk's favorite wrestling journalist Nick Hauseman brought up the Jericho story recently after Jericho said he saw the Brawl Out fight and doesn't have an NDA.

Was about to say I thought I saw the camera shake at the Rose Bowl and worried about another mega quake happening but when I flipped over to Raw I was sort of relieved to see why
