WWE Friday Night Smackdown: Wrestlemania Weekend Begins Edition

Well... it's not the Wrestlemania weekend everyone envisioned... but it is here... beginning tonight with the Go Home Edition of Friday Night Smackdown pre-taped from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.
By the way... this might be a good time to mention that WWE has only enough content in the can to get through NXT this upcoming Wednesday night... meaning WWE has stuff to figure out before next week's Smackdown show
No matches are promoted for tonight's show... just John Cena coming out to answer Bray Wyatt's challenge for a "Firefly Fun House Match"... which G has been scouring the WWE encyclopedias for the last week trying to figure out the rules for such a match
And the 6 competitors who were supposed to battle in the SD Tag Team Title Ladder Match will be on Miz TV/The Dirt Sheet... that of course being the champions Miz & Morrison, The Usos, & The New Day
WWE does have some writing off to do tonight... let's see if they actually do it... namely Roman Reigns from the Universal Championship match & Miz & the Usos from the aforementioned ladder match
Did you know Stephanie McMahon has had not 1... not 2... but at least 3 "wardrobe malfunctions" on WWE TV? 2 of which were at Triple H's hands?

There's some talk that WWE might just go on a break after Wrestlemania and scrap the stuff they've already filmed for Raw. I doubt that will happen but we'll see. Also Wrestlemania will be available on the Fox Sports ap and Fite.tv if you want to pay full price for some reason.

WWE has promoted 'Mania so much differently than pretty much any show of the last 6 years
instead of just "streaming on the WWE Network for $9.99/mo."... they've really promoted the PPV broadcast of 'Mania hard the last few weeks... almost as if they've gone back in time and promoting the show in the era pre-WWE Network
the talk of moving the big 4 events (Rumble, 'Mania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series) to either PPV only (off WWE Network) or to another steaming service (ESPN+, Fox Sports+, Disney+, etc.) is still alive and well and could happen quickly once this virus crap finally goes away

A lot of the early reports on Wrestlemania seem to be false. I've seen 3 or 4 different sets of spoilers now with different results for most of the matches.
