I was watching the 1994 Royal Rumble last night
how do you think the internet rasslin community would've reacted to that ending had the interwebz been a thing in 1994?
that... of course... was the Rumble where Bret Hart & Lex Luger went over the top rope together as the final 2 and were named co-winners and both got separate title matches at Wrestlemania X

Would have been interesting weren't both Luger and Bret over at that time? I know people liked Luger at that time.

This setup looks 10x better than they had the first few weeks.
The hard camera facing the entrance ala Ring Of Honor hides the empty arena very well.

Luger was in the "Made in the USA" gimmick at the time... no longer "The Narcissist"... having slammed Yokozuna the previous July
Bret was perhaps the company's top face at the time though... and was in the dissension in the Hart family storyline with Owen Hart
ETA: in fact... just earlier in that very show... Owen turned on Bret after the referee stopped the WWF Tag Team Title match between the Hart Bros. & Quebecers due to a "leg injury" for Bret
