the dude was basically about to get let go unless something turned his fortunes around
he came up the "The Fiend"... got it approved... and played it perfectly
and now he's Universal Champion
so... Friday Night Smackdown now has BOTH the WWE Championship & Universal Championship

Yea they could have helped themselves if they would have given Brock a damn fued against someone on Raw that could actually beat him for the title.....maybe someone like KO IDK....then you could have done Valesquez v Brock without the title which it didn't need. It was dumb to put the title back on Brock if Cain was his next fued.
This shite is just ridiculous all around.....All this shite around the Fox debut, this Saudi show, and basically everything on Raw and Smackdown has disillusioned me more than ever. I've got 2 Raws and 1 SD that I haven't even watched most of on DVR. I'll just continue on with NXT I reckon. And before ya'll say it I've tried AEW and it does less for me that Raw or Smackdown.

Brock floats so my guess is Seth vs Brock for the 1000th time at SS to get the 2nd tier title over to their now 2nd tier Raw.

Yea I'd be interested to know what exactly happened there...BUT I doubt we'll ever know the whole truth. I wonder if it was just some deal of Vince like I don't want Bischoff working for me but I don't want him working for AEW either so I'll hire him to a deal and fire him a few weeks later with a huge payout and a long non-compete.
