Now the straight on picture does resemble Lucille Ball - there is no question about that (and does not look like Judy Garland or Betty Grable to me at all).

Here is a picture of Ball, Grant and Sheridan (although Sheridan is in profile) - with similar facial expressions it is easy to see the similarities:

I know they had their problems back in the day but women looked so much more classy back then.
