Had a guy in my office show up one day with a black vest over some kind of pink/purple shirt and a shiny silver tie. Engineer. Generally they're pretty bad.
For those that don't think a professional appearance matters - good luck, you'll need it - especially when you're coming out of college and there's nothing to you but a GPA.

I don't personally like them, but I have big feet. I imagine it would look better on someone who has smaller than average size feet.

I do dress casually in the office a lot, though. Of course, I am my own boss, and I certainly dress differently when I know I'm going to be seeing clients.

I don't own them, just giving the OP an example of some square toe shoes. Never have I seen someone complain about square toe shoes before until this guy
