As a large guy over there I refused to go to a grocery store without the wife. They would still hit on you with her there, but there was a lot less blatant harassment.

And good god if you crossed the water. Every island girl you met, from the hotel concierge to the girl working the checkout at the grocery store was a smile away from trying to screw you.
