She should be locked up 2.5 years based on those eyebrows alone.

If you're upset about only 2.5 yr sentence..how pissed are you that it was actually only 15 months prison time?

And that the sentence is stayed until the appellate court sees the case.

I doubt she ever actually sees the inside of a prison.

She's a cruel and heartless bitch. But I don't think this was criminal. It sure does set a scary legal precedent.
People on here talk about committing suicide and other people give dick replies saying to go for it. Should they get a couple of months at Angola?
Slippery slope.

Dude she was straight up telling him how he should do it with the generator in the back seat and how she believed he could do it. Then told him to delete the texts. That's a little different than joking about it on an anonymous message board.

Agreed and that's why its not that hard of a sentence.

Its like that guy who drowned with the teenagers(?) recording it harassing him as he dies. Is it demeaning, yeah. Is it dumb, yeah. Is it barbaric, yeah.

But is it their responsibility to save him, no. She didn't truly commit a crime and neither did those guys in the video. Are they heartless assholes, yeah. Could they have done something to help, sure. Are they responsible to help, no.

ETA: Don't get me wrong, she egged him on and gave him ideas. But that's like saying peer pressure makes you responsible. I tell you to go do drugs, you get arrested for possession, why should I get in trouble for it as well.

Did y'all even read the texts?

And then posted shite like this for attention afterwards

She is a fricking sociopath who bullied a hesitant and naive kid into killing himself and then tried to hide it from everyone. She knows what she did and tried to cover it up.

Charles Manson never personally killed anyone, think he got a raw deal?

She convinced him to kill himself when he appeared to be backing out.

She's a monster, no doubt. She's also a super weirdo from everything Ive seen of her on tv. Her affect today was....off. I haven't read the statute, not weighing in on if this should have been a conviction or not.

That said, dude was a huge bitch. You can't let a 17-year-old girl talk you into killing yourself and leaving your family. This is not a typical suicide where people are so lost and hurt and unstable that they can't really comprehend the consequences of doing it. I've known people who've killed themselves and would never blame them and call them terrible or whatever insensitive and ignorant nonsense that usually gets spewed on here when suicide threads pop up. But this is different. Dude didn't want to kill himself. He let a fricking child bully him into it. What a bitch.

Again, that said. I can't even imagine being his parents. So fricked up.
