This is what I hate about the PC movement today. You can't use metaphors anymore because they are offensive. Everything has to be literal and super plain so as to not offend anyone.

It's ridiculous and only makes us bland.

Until your post I read it as physically across the railroad tracks, as in they were painting a picture w/ words for those who don't know where it is.

Some people will see everything w/ a racist lens if they choose that conditioning
