Subtle.

Couldn't think of any other way to describe it since that's the only way to tell without going down by the docks to check the water in the lake, at least from this wing.

Neither have I. I usually get “precipitation alert” or “special weather statement” in my ticker but once I clicked on it the notification went away

Yea wind is picking up. I love the sound of snow although I’ve heard it only a handful of times. Too bad it’s never loud enough to get woken up by it unlike tstorms

The snow is still that really wet sloppy kind that has almost melted before hitting the ground, it resembles someone spilling a little bit of a snowball or slushy. We need a little bit more cooling above us and it will be true snow flakes and there are some heavy bands coming our way so hopefully that happens in time for those to get to us as all snow. I saw this back in 2009, started off as big wet snow/ice and within 30 minutes or so it was snowing its arse off. I was also driving into the snow so that change happened more quickly than if I was staying in one location so hopefully within the next hour it is a full and complete change over to snow. I go out and sometimes I see more sleet/rain than snow then it is back to more wet snow. The heavier precip should help cool the warm column.

Weather channel radar showing this should go back to all rain before finally going to all snow. Not sure why or how accurate their radar is but I was hoping to take advantage of the heavier precip coming in.

Snowing a little right now in downtown Baton Rouge, nothing enough to stick though.

Now the snow is looking better. Hoping that radar is wrong because there are some good bursts starting to happen and its all snow.

Every time I look at the radar and the snow line looks like it’s heading to southern Tangipahoa and western St Tammany, the line breaks and it’s just rain. I’m pissed

Starting to slack up big time in Beaumont but we got two hours of solid big flakes. Hopefully BR can get that. Still shows a chance of snow (above average) till about 7.
