told by Broome (when she was in the legislation) and Burrow that they would have to incorporate to get their own school district.

I'm curious if the organizers of the St George movement normally gets their legal advice from SWB and Regina Burrow, or are you all being intentionally obtuse?

I don’t think anyone does (or at least should) take advice from either of them. Their comments though, thinking it would never happen, was what got the organizers looking a little more into it which ultimately resulted in where we stand today.

So you're saying the entire St. George movement to incorporate is based on bad legal advice from Sharon Weston Broome?

A more plausible explanation is that incorporation was the objective all along. We are talking about Bodi White, here. The Brownings were appointed multiple positions in Central when it was formed. The city of Central school district deviated from the city limits when it suddenly stretched out across the Comite river to grab Browning's family member so that she could be appointed to the school board.

They were not told it was required. They were told by Broome et al that it was the sense of some of the legislators that they'd have a better chance of getting enough legislators to approve of ISD formation if they had a city first when, in fact, it was that thundercunt sabotaging the process all along.

The movement asked for a school district amicably; the leaders that be wouldn’t allow it.

I would imagine the organizers already knew incorporating was a more lengthy process to get the same school district result. Broome and Burrow made bone-headed comments regarding the situation and now scrambling to try and prevent their own words from happening.

Sit back and enjoy the ride; St. George is coming!
