White supremacy is a convenient distraction for the utterly horrible way police treat every demographic in this country. It puts white people who would otherwise support curbing police overreach on the defensive, needlessly, so that the terms of the conversation remain ever elusive. People who don’t ever feel the need to justify their own views suddenly release statements like they are media companies. The same thing happened with Muslims and terrorism, where minority views get ascribed to people regardless of their individuality or what they actually believe, and requires endless statements as though each individual is a social media company.

It is a distraction, in this case, when the real issue is police overreach. Between 2013 and 2019, there were nearly 3000 deaths at the hands of police total, with only 1% of those deaths leading to an actual conviction. There have been so many egregious cases that people don’t even care about. What about Daniel Shaver, Tony Tampa, Rhogena Nicholas and Dennis Tuttle? There are so many clear examples of this overreach that it should move everyone, regardless of race, to attempt to curb overreach. Instead we make pointless statements about race, wonder about “culture” and posture ourselves perpetually on the defensive, with ultimately nothing getting done.

David Duke was at one time a true believer in what he preached. And he may still believe that crap, however...

He is now well paid by Democrats to show up with a well timed endorsement designed to undermine a republican candidates.

Any thinking person has known this for 20 years.

Democrats essentially create robocalls from David Duke endorsements.
