Treating physicians/counselors, friends and family of the victim should presume she's being truthful until more facts come out.

Everyone else, including the criminal justice system, universities, the general public and the media should presume innocence until the facts indicate otherwise, in which case the justice system should nonetheless continue to do so until conviction.
