Yes. But most foreign pharmacies do not even require a doctors prescription. You can just choose however many pills you want, they usually come in bunches of 30 or 60.

I sometimes take out of town trips for a week or more. One time I was out of town for two weeks and I always take some of those antibiotics with me. Well I got an abscessed tooth and I wasn’t going to be back in town for at least 10 days. The antibiotics knocked it out and held it down until I could get back to see my dentist. He asked me what I have been taking. I told him. He prescribed the same thing. I did not get the prescription filled and continued taking my own.
