You're full of shite. Don't be so insecure that you can't admit that you had to Google their joke like I did. That insecure bs is annoying
Um, I've been working on my own cars for 20 years. That's the last time I've had to pay somebody to do something on my vehicles. Other than mounting and dismounting tires on rims and a proper alignment which I don't have the equipment for and once or twice when I had to have a control arm bushing pressed out because I don't have I stand up press. Other than that, I've done everything on my vehicles over that time span.
No, the guy said Lucas Electronics. He could have been referring to a local shop by that name. Lucas is not an uncommon name and it's also not uncommon for local businesses to take similar names to large manufacturers in their industry so that people go to them in the phone book when searching.

You prolly chose to read the same article as I did bc of the picture of the smoke in the jar
Okay, now I have no idea what you're talking about. Now you're going to have to explain. Am I missing something here? I'm on my phone so am I missing a sig picture or an avitar or something?

G&M electric is a rewind shop. May do alternators (small item). They open Monday @ 8. Website is online. Cost not sure. I usually budget $75/HP on a rewind of a motor.

Call first, I see you already ordered one on line. Hold on to the old one in case the one you got takes a shite.
DEMCO was the first place I thought of but I wasn't sure if they did alternators. They turn me down before on a DC motor and said they only worked on AC so they should be able to do it.
Thanks for all the other suggestions, guys! All going in my Rolodex.
