Im an identical twin but were similar in most things. Shes always been like an inch taller than me and like 10 lbs heavier growing up. A lot of people, including close family still cant tell us apart on the phone

About to have twins. We haven't decided if we're going to test them when they're young or wait until they're older to find out if they're identical, if it isn't obvious that they're not.

Yall havent had an ultrasound???

I believe if theyre in the same sac they are identical. It means the egg split. If there are 2 sacs they are fraternal

i am an identical twin. growing up we did the same things but as we got into high school / college, we developed our own friends, hobbies, etc. i think this was a function of always being lumped together as "the twins" and not really identifying as individuals. as we have gotten older we have become much closer and enjoy the same things and spend a lot of time together.

there is no one else on this planet that knows and understands me like him and vise versa.

Not true. Just a little less likely to be identical. The MFM told us this at the first ultrasound.

Not necessarily. Identical twins can have 2 separate sacs (and 2 separate placentas)--it just depends on when the egg splits.

I've always wanted to be an identical twin. One day maybe.
