Impossible since he died in WW2. Luckily he left me with a sense of humor. Something you lack.

Mrs. Grieve's second grade class. My school was about 5 miles away from Barksdale AFB where Bush landed. Strangest thing, I can't remember much from that day other than how quiet my parents were at home.

Was driving on 1960 in Houston to a jobsite, they called us on the 2 way in the truck and told me to stop somewhere, I didn't know what was happening until I heard it on the radio, they stopped us because we were working next to IAH. It was eerie later on when they let us go to work not hearing planes landing every couple of minutes.

6th grade homeroom. They turned the tv on in our classroom about 15 minutes before the second plane hit. It was turned off immediately after. Our teacher was explaining to us what was going on...

Olinde's
I was in wearhouse that morning. I walked into the store where the tvs were and watched it live on tv.
I went to class, parked close to Kirby Smith.
On the radio, i was listening to report that Pres G W Bush was at Bossier City/Shreveport in Air Force One.
Somethings you will never forget.

I was at home just getting into the shower to get ready for a mid-morning meeting. At that point only the first plane had hit and the guys on the radio (Rick & Bubba Show) were wondering how in the world a plane had just hit one of the towers. They talked like at that point it was probably some sort of bad accident. I got out of the shower, dried off and turned on the TV and literally seconds after tuning into the news I saw the second plane hit. I just stood there shocked for a moment trying to make sense of what I'd just seen. It didn't take long though for it to sink in that this was a major attack.

I was in bed watching it unfold. Crazy, skipped all classes at Auburn.
