Watch Double Crossed with Denis Hopper, its a much better version of the earlier events when he was in Baton Rouge. The family had a the script in a glass frame in a foyer.
Its better than American Made
Also knew his best friends Daughter Misty Camp

The first movie about Barry Seal (played by Dennis Hopper) was a 1991 HBO movie. Dennis Hopper is simply a better actor than Tom Cruise. This portrayal should be viewed by all who have an interest in this story. ETA: The movie is "Double Crossed".
I partied with Dennis at Tiptina’s on a slow Tuesday night back in the day. He was in town filming Double Crossed. A group of us went to see some band and there may have been 20 people total in Tip’s. Before the band started, Dennis and his bodyguard walked in and cozied up to us at the bar. Our group was big into partying and Dennis latched on quickly. Next thing we know we’re partying with Dennis for hours. Little dude, great guy….BIG partier. A seriously fun evening for such a dead event.
