We like our Nespresso vertuo machine. With the side milk frother.

No grown man should ever say "frother". (I am assuming you are a man, if you are a lady it is acceptable).

My wife wanted a "superautomatic" coffee machine. It was like $700 so I told her to just go to starbucks to save us money.

I have a Delonghi Magnifica XS. I picked up a refurbished unit from eBay for half the cost and it has worked great for 3 years.

Grinds on every brew: Espresso or full cups.

Lot of great suggestions..
Sorta depends of the coffee extract you are going for and effort.

I have an old drip that makes great coffee.. all the same pretty much … stove top percolating versus electric percolating.. a rocket or a mr coffee.. never saw much difference..I have both.. I like the rocket cause it has the clear knob to see the coffee bubble and reminds me of my grandfather.

French press is very good emersion system and can make a full pot..I have these also but do not use them anymore unless entertaining and want a pot brewing on the table as you get dessert . I like the French press enter than drip-percolating…

A lot of the newer recommendations are espresso focused…

Old school stove top espresso is the mocha pot .. I have bialetti. It is considered stove top espresso.. is 1.5-2 times strength of regular drip coffee and uses a pressure of 1-2 bars…( the typically considered preferred expresso is done at 9 bars)

New school is the aero… same concept but at .5 bars and paper filter so will hold back oils and fines.. I like my coffee textured so rather the metal filter..I have this also and use it when in a rush and just boil the water in the microwave..

I Keep a keruig single for drop in or lazy days.. taste good if you get good pods ( can not beat community imo)

Lot of suggestions on the new machines that use internet.. grinder feeder .. totally automatic and ready when you get out of bed.. my son has a very nice one.. to much bells and whistles.. but he works and I am retired so we have different coffee making rituals.

Nespresso is a very fast espresso maker.. it uses 19 bars which many places frown on.and the reason people like the full espresso pump machines.. so they can be in control of pressure… but another son has one and I have made espresso with it.. very good and they make sure the coffee type and grind is optimized for creama .extraction time 15 ishseconds due to higher pressure..

The classic espresso machine is 9 bars and 25-30 seconds and of course you have the milk steamer..

I have a tassimo which predate keruig and nespresso.. it was an early hot beverage system and came over from Europe.. has lost market in us and Canada but still big in Europe.. uses pods ( t disk) .. but it makes anything.. has coffe-tea-espresso-milk disk
… each one has a barcode and it reads it to determine amount of water.. heat… pressure.. time.. it is great but I now order my disk through Amazon…

Daily use.. my mocha pot:)

Now want to talk about iced coffee system and coffee concentrate system? .. got a few of those also depending on if iced coffee or other cold beverages( and no hot brewed coffee then cooled with ice is not cold brewed coffee.. totally violates the entire reason of cold brew)
