An old drinking buddy was a fed ex pilot 20 years ago and said he made 300k with incentives then.
Yeah, for several years, the two cargo airlines were the highest paid. But United and Delta are getting new contracts that will top them. But I’m sure when their contracts are up, they’ll either match them or top them.

And yes, your buddy was making that kind of cash back then. Even more now.

Society at it's most basic level requires blue collar workers more than white collar workers.
