I bought some Mizuno's on sale on Amazon and I've been more impressed with them than my Asics from day 1.

Other than their dri-fit shirts, I don't buy any Nike products. My Mom would buy me a pair of Nike's when I was in elementary school and they'd fall apart halfway through the school year. This was in the mid-90s. So I'd say Nike has been meh for quite a while.
But like I said, the dri-fit shirts are awesome.
