I blame the inception of gender reveal parties.

would be miserable AF if I had to go to an event like that.

As I said before, you’re probably a miserable person or have shitty friends.

If you are a man and go to these even if there is beer you are whipped.

You wont admit it but your wife owns you.

So like I said, you must have miserable friends or you, yourself, are just miserable

This might be the gayest thing I've heard in a while.

Baby showers are for the women. Let them have their time.

Trying to convince others that they are miserable people because you like to go to baby showers with your schmedium shirt wearing friends is pretty low.

I've been to a couple. Not really a big deal, imo.

It’s easy to figure out based on your responses here

So everyone who doesn't like the same activities that you do is a miserable person with shitty friends?

If it’s miserable for you to get together with your friends then either you are miserable or you have shitty friends.

You’re preoccupied with gay things when nobody brought that up. Weird.

Also apparently not comfortable with anything that isn’t big bad manliness lol

This is not true.

Have fun at your baby showers.

In most cases, the people having showers are members of my church or coworkers, not my friends. As previously mentioned, having a good time is certainly not the purpose of any of these events, it is all about getting gifts. As long as I drop off a gift, they don't care if I or anyone else goes or not. Stupid games and bad food would not be fun for anyone.

Thays fair. But your original post put a blanket statement out that you’d be miserable at these events, and didn’t state friends vs acquaintances.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that almost all of my friends are men

I've had a few friends that have done this. Guys mostly hangout on the back patio drinking beer and watching whatever game is on TV while the women are inside the house doing the baby shower activities.

Same. And we’ve had a blast at a few showers over the years.

It started when women realized that by inviting men, it would provide another opportunity to make men miserable for a period of time.
