I've come to accept the "disposable fashion" or whatever the hell they call it. There are plenty of off-brand shite that looks fantastic, is cheap, definitely a bit lesser quality, but is cheap enough that you can replace it in a year or two to keep up with newer trends without breaking the bank.
A great example is the Amazon brand stuff. True, I don't have some badass tag or emblem that no one notices but, if they did, they'd be SUPER impressed
. What I do have is a nice trendy sweater, comfortable slacks, a nice polo, etc. and more money left in my account.
The idea of paying $75 for a a polo is absolutely insane to me. They wear out, go out of style, brand diminishes, etc. frick all that. Gimme the Amazon Basics that looks the damn same and sells for $17.99.

No one cares what men wear. If youre confident in it, you'll look good.

Cargo shorts hanging down below one's knees would like a word

Some guys love them, and dont care what others think.
Good for them.

Shirts: have a guy that comes in from Thailand and custom makes my shirts. Also Tyrwhitt shirts I’ll buy.
Polos: don’t really wear them
Gym Shorts: Lululemon or Rep
Blue Jeans: Revtown
Shoes: Vans for casual, Allen Edmonds for dress or casual
Suits: custom made by my Thailand connection
Hunting gear: Orvis, Sitka, Drake

Roundtree and York. I never pay full price- I only buy if it’s on the clearance rack or during Father Day sales.

Not because they are popular with Instagram hoes and fake lumber jacks but because they are quality clothing. I wear them at work, fishing, or in the woods.
Ok Mr Big Billy Badass. We believe you.

Same. I’m in my mid-50s. There is literally one person on this planet I need to impress with my looks. And shes been married to me going on 30 years and birthed two children for me.

I dont know many guys who give a damn about fashion. If youre in decent shape, you'll look good in anything.

Some people dress well to impress. Some people dress well out of self respect. Some people just look like bums.
I imagine 40-60% of TD is in the third group.

I dont give a frick what you metrosexuals think about how I dress. Its liberating.
Imagine being a slave to fashion, as a guy.

No one has mentioned champions?
I really like their tshirts. They’re long enough, cheap, and don’t shrink in the wash.
Shorts…. I get from target. Target is great for classic shorts.
Pants… depends
Polos… depends. I do have a few Johnny o’s that fit ok.
Button downs….. it’s all over the place

I spend most days in Vuori shorts and Rabbit shirts.
But for suits I order from Dan John then get tailored locally. Casual button downs and polos from Charles Thywitt.
