Low humidity
Cheaper vehicle insurance
Politicians that don’t steal everything
Legal weed for the devil lettuce baws
Conclusion: never as this will never happen
Even if some miracle fixed the bottom 3, you're pretty much fricked on item 1.

For the record, I thought after the SJWs tore down all of the statues in and around NOLA everyone would be moving back to LA. Are you telling me this didn't happen???
Also, I left LA to travel the world with the Army in 1996 and have only been back when I was blessed to be stationed at Fort Polk. However, there is a lot that needs fixing that will never be fixed in the current state of politics and weather (regardless if the statues are up or not).
To reinforce what was stated by others:
o Colorado Springs has no humidity or bugs.
o The Pacific Northwest is very similar minus the snow, but add the rain in the winter.
o Although I can't currently smoke the weed, it is legal in states where I have lived and the world has not caught on fire up here so why is it not fully legalized everywhere (lots of tax dollars for LA politicians to pocket).
Lastly, LA is off the table for me to live when I retire. I will return to visit family, but I will happily take anywhere else on the Gulf Coast before I have to worry about insurance premiums and living in a sue happy state like LA. The juice is not worth the squeeze.

I'm here. I love living here. Literally no one cares where you live. Live wherever you want.

I'm thinking of moving to this area when I retire. Tons to do outdoors and not many people.

I've been gone for nearly 30 years. Got an offer for employment that I will likely accept. My one child is in college, my parents are getting older and I'm a widower. Time for the old to become new to me.
