I would like to be one at the top of the food chain.
People take being at the top of the food chain for granted.
If we were like most animals we'd have hundreds of children, the news reports would have several hundred people a day getting eaten on the way to work, and the average lifespan would be about 30 because almost everybody would be eaten before old age.
