Hold up a minute. The competition to become a playboy playmate was intense for decades until the internet changed that. Women were paid and competed for the opportunity by the hundreds of thousands over the years. Attractive women have always used their looks to survive and make a living and that is even more true today than when Hefner was building playboy.

Hefner did a lot for a lot more for women than he "took advantage" of them. They came to him to use their looks to try to make a living in droves for decades.
